Memorable and excellent stay!!! It felt like home! We can highly recommend it! Room with en suite bathroom a huge benefit and surprise in a mountain hut. Excellent hospitality and service by Sophie & Guilia. Delicious meals. Special treat was our lunch pack. Sjef made special effort to have fresh foccacia ready. Well informed advice about walks, very valuable.

Stopped here just for lunch, what a haven! Food is mountain-simple and hearty, but amazingly done! Service is kind and diligent, and the welcoming with a beautiful smile makes you think you reached heaven! Well, you probably have. Great views, we were blessed with a perfect day to enjoy Monte Cervino in all its splendour. Totally recommended!

Stopped here for lunch. The food was great!! We had the tradional soup (enough to share) with the chocolate & pear tart as dessert.

My friend and I spend one night there in order to acclimatize for Matterhorn. We were quite surprised how comfortable our stay actually was. We got a cozy room with a bunk bed and a bathroom. Hot water included! I never would have imagined we would start our climb in such a great shape (smell wise :D). Staff is super friendly and helpful. They let us leave some of our equipment in their storage. Breakfast is simple, though filling.. you will get a bread, butter, marmelade, coffee, some crackers and a piece of cake. We were told by the staff that the tap water is not drinkable, nevertheless we drank it anyway. No stomach issues whatsoever. Well spent 50€.

We waited for more than 1 hour, but my pasta was honestly not good (overcooked, so that tagliatelle were broken). The tagliere di salumi was small (for 18€, we expected something better). To resume: high prices for long waiting and below the norm quality food. It may be good for tourist who doesn’t know how the traditional Italian food looks like. In my opinion, for the same price there are better traditional restaurants.

Once again we were pleasantly surprised by the staff in this place. We got to the hut in the middle of the night on our descent and not only they got us cod beer but they made us warm sandwiches! :)) They were truly our heroes! The rooms and beds are cozy and warm and there's a shower in each room...f*** yes! Hope to go there again ;)

Great menu, hospitable staff, outlets, bathroom with the shower, gray place to stay and just have a rest. There is special place for tents without roof, you can stay there for free
